We have a farm assistant position available for the coming season with the option of starting earlier. We are looking for a motivated dairy assistant who is keen to learn and progress in the dairy industry. You will have a strong work ethic. Able to ride a quad, basic tractor skills would be an advantage. You will be drug free and not alcohol dependent. We milk 500 cows through a 54 bail rotary with automatic cup removers, auto teat spray and pro track. We also have halter so no more getting cows in for milking or putting up break fences. We run a system 3 with one herd, in shed feeding and a feed pad. Runoff is 15 minute drive away which is mainly used for wintering cows and making supplements We are located just 10 minutes from Carterton and Greytown.
