We seek a reliable person  to join our team milking 600 cows 10 minutes south of Westport.   Some  dairying experience essential.  Tasks to include tractor driving, milking, break fencing, animal husbandry and farm maintenance. Mechanical skills would be advantageous as we do our own spreading, cultivating and silage making.  Full driver's licence required, and able to pass a pre-employment drug test. The farm is close to rivers, bush, mountains and the sea, with great opportunities for hunting and fishing.

We are looking for that person to join our small team in Barrytown on the West Coast milking 520 cows once a day.  You will be involved in all aspects fo dairy farming including tractor driving, fertiliser spreading, milking, animal health and fencing. Plus all the other stuff that happens in between. We are not concerned if you don't have all this experience, we are keen to train and support you. Start is asap after 1 July 2025, before 1 August 2025.   Unfortunately, due to really sucky circumstances our long term worker has had to leave so we are keen to find the next person to join our family diary farm.
