The farm is located 10-15 minutes to Ashburton, 30 minutes from Mt Hutt Ski Field.  Previous experience is preferred but not required for this role. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. We are looking for an relief milker for a 750 cow farm located 10 minutes east of Ashburton. This is a casual drive in position and experience in milking is required as it is a high producing herd, being milked through a 1 person shed. The cows are being milked through a 54 bale rotary with acr and auto teatspray. The roster will be covering the other staffs days off, and will be 4 days on, 6 days off, with the occasional 6 days on, 4 days off, the high producing herd takes around 4 hours to milk in the morning and around 3 hours in the afternoon.
