Hi we have a Full time calf rearer position available on our 1000 cow farm. We're looking for someone to join team to help us over the calving period. The position will be for at least a period of 6-8 straight weeks working up to 5 hours a day. Remuneration will depend on experience but we will pay well for the right person. Accomodation is available or this can be a drive in position, located 10 minutes west of Ngatea

General farm jobs , milking cows , feeding calves , getting cows in for milking , spraying weeds etc....  We have a position available for someone who is willing to help out calving / calf rearing on a 220 cow dairy farm alongside the farm manager. After calving is finished we have work available over 3 farms which include helping milking , shifting stock are runoff , spraying weeds etc...  The applicant will need to enjoy working with others , but also self motivated. Calf rearer wanted for 8 weeks for our 560 cow farm at Heddon Bush. The farm is 15 minutes from Winton. The position would be for a 8 week period.

We have a position for a Permanent Part Time  Calf Rearer and Relief Milker to assist owners. We guarantee a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight. Duties would be to relief milk, assist with calf rearing in the spring and stock work over the dry period. Other day time work by arrangement. We milk 315 cows through 36 bale rotary  ( no cup removers ). Must Be NZ resident. This position is for immediate  start.

We are looking for an experienced calf rearer for autumn and spring calving.    This could be a full-time position with also assisting on the dairy farm with weed spraying and relief milking.  

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to assist during our busy autumn calving season. Rearing calves from the end of July till end of October.  This position is based 15 mins East of Tokoroa. Experience is preferred but not essential.  Pay will be between $25 - $35 per hour dependent on experience. The role is a assitant herd manager for a 650 cow dairy farm in Carew, Canterbury. You will be reporting to the farm 2IC and farm owner.  The successful candidate will be honest, have a can-do attitude, works well as a team, and have a broad dairy skill set- want all members of the team to be able to complete all the jobs on farm independantly as needed.   The farm runs a simple system, with cows milked through a 60 bale rotary shed, with in-shed feeding, ACR's and automatic drafting.  Roster is 5:2, with 6:1 during spring for 6-8 weeks.  Accomodation is provided on farm as part of the total package, pets are not allowed.  Fair remuneration rates offered, will depend on experience.
