We require a Tractor driver, odd jobs man to join our high performance dairy unit located in Clinton township. As we reach our busy time of the year we would like to find a capable person to take responsibilities of feeding out to cows on calving pads, maintaining the tractor and other farm machinery but also being involved with other farm activities like moving herds to and from the shed, getting calves and cows in etc. This is a new role to join our hard working and supportive team.  

We need 1 Herd Manager to join our team. As a Herd Manager, you must have a natural love for animals and all agriculture. This is a full-time permanent role that requires you to work a minimum of 40 hours and a maximum of 50 hours per week at $27.00/hour. To be considered for the role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in NZ dairy farming. You must be physically fit, with clean full driving license, criminal, and drug checks to be considered for the role. No pets are allowed in the shared accommodation. No smoking/vaping allowed in the shared accommodation and sheds. We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant with at least 6 months' dairy farming experience to join a 890-cow farm in the Omakau area, milking through a 54 Bail Rotary shed.
