Our beautiful 650Ha family owned and run dairy farm is located just a few minutes from the Methven, where there are great schools, shops, cafes etc and so much to do on your days off.  We think we are ideally situated to enjoy everything the South Island has to offer.   We milk our beautiful 800 cows through an updated 40 aside Herringbone shed, it has ACR and all the bells and whistles.  We produce only A2 milk so we have some very strict processes and procedures in place that must be adhered to, so having a good eye for detail is going to be an essential skill for you to have to come and work for us.   Having said that we are willing to train the right person.  We would like you to have at least 6-to-12-months experience under your belt so you must at least know how to milk cows.  We will teach you the rest but the things we can’t teach you that are essential are a willingness to learn, have a strong work ethic, be a team player, honest, reliable and have initiative....
