2 calf rearing positions are available on an 1600 cow dairy farm. Experience is not necessary but would be an asset. To help in rearing 400 replacement calves and 250 bull calves. Its a full time position. Accomodation is available if required.

We milk 750 cows in two herds through a 40 aside shed on a 174ha milking platform with attached 118ha support block for silage, wintering, r1 and r2 heifers. We are looking for full-time calf rearers from July to September. We are located in Leeston, 40 minutes from Christchurch. You will be responsible for around 200 indoor calves. We feed twice a day. Experience is a bonus but is not a must. Full training will be provided.
