We are seeking an exceptional Dairy Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations and performance of our dairy farm located at Titoki, near Whangarei in the stunning Northland region. We are on the Hunt for a farm manager on our farm 10 minutes to whangarei We run 3 farms all close to whangarei 1500 cows in total so plenty of progression for the right person. There is a 3 bedroom house available. We use a consultant and provide plenty of support. Allflex collars auto drafting system 3 with maize and pke using a mixer wagon. 

Looking for a manager or someone who wants to step up. The owners are not on farm so you have to be a motivated and an independent worker . As well as paperwork and compliance , you will need to understand the shed, Animal health and pasture management. We are organic and regen so lots of pre planning and open mindedness needed . We are looking for an experienced farm worker (12+ months) to work as Herd Manager on a 900-cow farm in Ruatangata West, just 21 minutes from Whangarei. The farm has autumn (550 cows) and spring (350 cows) calving, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary and 22 Aside Herringbone shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking and monitoring milk quality, - stock handling and feeding (feed mgt), - fencing, weed control, - calving, calf rearing, - shed maintenance & preparation, - tractor operation for feeding out, baling, mowing and silage - monitoring, recording and maintaining animal health - and other general farm duties. This is a varied role combining approximately 30 hours per week of dry stock work with 15-20 hours assisting on the dairy farm. It would suit someone who enjoys working with stock, likes variety in their day and is capable of working independentlty. This is not an entry level position.
