We are seeking an exceptional Dairy Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations and performance of our dairy farm located at Titoki, near Whangarei in the stunning Northland region. We are committed to creating a great working environment and providing opportunities to learn and grow.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the farm, ensuring high-quality milk production, and maintaining a positive working environment. Halter is used on farm so being comfortable with technology is a must, combined with great pasture management skills.
We are milking 330 cows through a centrally located 32 bail rotary on a flat to rolling 155ha farm. 145 cows calve in Autumn with the other 185 calving in Spring. With calving almost over, now is a great time to start in this role.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in dairy farm management with strong pasture management and feed planning. They will be confident using technology—particularly Halter or similar systems—and bring excellent communication and leadership skills. A proactive, organised, and solutions‑focused mindset is essential, along with a genuine commitment to animal welfare, safety, and continuous improvement.
