Applicant MUST have reliable transport and MUST currently live in NZ. 3 days a week is available (AM & PM milkings) and there may be more available if needed. Relief Staff Required: Located Between Putaruru & Arapuni Sorry – no accommodation available, so we’re looking for drive-in relief staff to cover Jay’s time off (he’s our fabulous Herd Manager).   We are flexible but will usually need someone to cover every second Saturday, Sunday & Monday (with the cycle falling on 26th, 27th & 28th September, and each fortnight after that).   We will also need someone to cover longer periods of time, during Jay’s annual leave. We are looking for a reliable Relief Milker to join our team from now 2026 until the end of the 2026/27 dairy season. The successful applicant will cover milking shifts while permanent staff are on annual leave, attending training, or carrying out other essential farm duties. The role includes milking cows, preparing and cleaning the milking shed and equipment, bringing cows to and from the milking shed, monitoring animal health and welfare, maintaining high standards of milk quality and hygiene, and carrying out general dairy farm duties as required.
