Calf Rearer Required, Full Responsibility Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable calf rearer to take full responsibility for our calf-rearing season. This is a drive-in, drive-out role. We are located in Ohaupo, within approximately 15 minutes of both Cambridge and Te Awamutu. The role will run from 1 July through to 1 October, on an 11 days on, 3 days off roster. We are calving 285 cows, with approximately 140 calves reared through to weaning. This role involves taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the calf shed. We are looking for someone to take the lead as a calf rearer, with assistance from our other farm staff. We will be rearing approximately 150 replacement heifer calves plus a few beef calves across two neighbouring farms. Position to start 13th July, for about 10 weeks.  Ideally a 6 : 1 position with Sundays off. There is also a possibility of taking on some relief milkings through the rest of the season if desired.
