Farm details: The dairy platform is approx.190ha, with all run-off land on the boundary or in close proximity. We are located 5mins or 5km from the centre of Waimate , South Canterbury. Peak milk 780-800 cows through 40 aside herringbone, allflex & halter collars, in-shed feeding & pro-track. Irrigation: Most of the farm is under pivot, however there is K-Line that will also be moved twice a day for 5 days a week in peak irrigations season. We have an opening for a Herd Manager on  our farm team.   We need someone with experience in all aspects of Dairying to complement our current Farm Manager.  Competent in milking, animal health detection and treatments. Minimum of 3 years dairying in NZ and Primary ITO qualification  Milk Harvesting level 3 .  As a small farm team you may be asked to help in any farm tasks. We have a runoff attached to our farm with all our young stock and wintering paddocks. Vaccinating, drenching, drafting, weighing of cows will be part your job.
