We are looking for someone to milk, and do basic essential farm jobs milking am and pm daily with every second weekend off for either 2 or 3 days. Or possibly Monday to Friday work with weekends off This is a DRIVE IN position. Located in Waihou 10 minutes from Morrinsville, 5 minutes from Te Aroha. 26 Aside Herringbone with in shed meal feeders. Quiet Cows. Farm work/extra hours available if required. Potential for weekdays only, we can be flexible to suit applicant.

We require someone to help our team with milking, and other general farm duties as required in the new season. 50 bale rotary with cup removers and protrack drafting.  Experience ist essential and preference will be given to someone who has relevant experience, provide references and will fit in well with our team.  *This is not just a "Job that comes with a house"  We have an enthuiastic experienced local team with filipino workers and need someone reliable to support this. Warm and tidy 3 bedroom home available. MUST be physically fit and able to perforrm ALL labour intensive duties. Being able to lift 40kg calves is also a must. Looking for a capable person in the shed to help milk 480 cows through a herringbone shed with one of my friendly staff members. Some experience would be preferred but not necessary. We have an onsite 2 bedroom house available if required.  This would be a fixed term contract to help us through the busy part of the season from 1st August to 31st December.

We are looking for an extra pair of hands over the next 8 weeks to help with calving and rostered days off.  Duties will include milking, helping pick up calves and possibly help with feeding calves at times.  Work will mainly be in the mornings and could potentially have the afternoons free if that suits you Anyone level of experience will be considered and we can fit the right person in . There will be the option of ongoing work after calving but wont be as many hours.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying.
