110 Hectare easy rolling farm just out of Te Poi. Modern 50 bale rotary, inshed feeding, ACRs, Auto teat spray, drafting gate. Halter collars on cows. We are looking for a Relief milker that is capable of working predominately sole charge. We are husband/wife sharemilkers with no staff, looking for a reliable relief milker so that we can have some time off. Recently renovated 3 bedroom house available on farm if required. Milk for rent is an option.  Experience is essential & must currently be based in New Zealand.

Previous dairy farming experience is preferred but not essential. This role is for a milk harvester on set days of Tuesday to Friday, or could be on a rotation that works for you. The rotation will be a 4 on 4 off  Your role will primarily milking alongside another staff member. The hours will be between 30-40 a week with chance of picking up extra hours when other staff has time off.  

We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.
