This is not a FULL-TIME position. RENT , HOURLY RATE ARE NEGATABLE. More part time to cover husband and wife team on days off and the odd job in-between when required we will give notice. we are very flexible. The job and the house are offered as a package for the 2026 2027 season. A secondary income is most likely needed. Would suit someone wanting to step back from full time dairy farming. Job description is all jobs involved with running a standard dairy farm. Be full time throughout calving and mating. Tractor driving is needed, feeding out only to extend lactation through the summer. Hourly rate is paid, and timesheets are used and pay is weekly all hours worked past rent are paid. Relief work. We are looking for someone to drive in to milk the morning shift at our farm near Walton.  Will be milking in a herringbone cowshed, this will be getting in cows , milking , and clean up.  Will be around 3 to 4 hours per shift.  During calving there could be extra hours available if wanted to help with calves etc.   Can be somewhat flexible on roster for the right person.

This role is for a milk harvester on set days of Tuesday to Friday, or could be on a rotation that works for you. The rotation will be a 4 on 4 off  Your role will primarily milking alongside another staff member. The hours will be between 30-40 a week with chance of picking up extra hours when other staff has time off.
