We are after someone for a unique role on a 740 cow dairy farm located in Tirohanga, 30km NW of Taupo. We are a Halter farm. NOTE - We are not an accredited employer. Its for a part time labour unit with guaranteed 40 hours per fortnight. Some weeks will be the equivalent of full time if other staff are having annual leave etc. A tidy 3 bedroom home with fireplace and garaging is available for this position. There is also the potential for tractor driving, fencing, calf rearing etc available for the right person. Im happy to discuss this in person. Also in the area there is a real shortage of relief milkers.

You must have 2 years or more NZ dairy farm experience and be of Herd Manager level.  Jobs include all basic farm work and some responsibilities around animal health, milk quality, pasture management, tractor work, farm maintenance and weekly reporting will be required to be done.  You must have a high level of english, be reliable and smoke/ drug free with a valid driver license. salary package based on applicant capabilities. Hello! I am looking for a relief milker for a 415 cow dairy farm on Oreipunga Road, Maungatautari.  We are milking 415 cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. Calving Starts 7 July, and we milk twice a day all season. The role is that of a shed assist: you will be working alongside the contract milker to cover employee time off. We are on the lookout for a reliable drive-in Sheep Milker, located in Tahuna, Waikato. Milking alongside one other in a herringbone shed.  Morning and afternoon milkings on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (3 days a week fixed for 3-4 months).
