We are seeking two (2) Dairy Farm Assistants with at least 6 months' dairy farm experience to work on a 650 and 700-cow farm in the Okaihau and Kerikeri area, milking through a 40 and 35 Aside Herringbone sheds. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 40. As a Herd Manager, you must have a natural love for animals and all agriculture.  This is a full-time permanent role that requires you to work a minimum of 34 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week at $30.00/hour. We are searching for someone who is wanting to progress in the dairy industry, and shift into management in the next 12 months. Currently we have 8 Filipinos, and 5 kiwi part time staff spread over 3 farms, we are searching for someone who has clear spoken English and is also fluent in Tagalog.
