We are looking for an experienced Herd Manager to join our team. They need to understand and take responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management and feeding. Completes tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff. Looks for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business. Please only apply for this position if you are living and working already in NZ. From July (calving) the time off will be 12 on 2 off. After AI the time off roster will change to 11 on 3 off. 

Farm Assistant – Dairy, Beef & Sheep South Head, North-West Auckland We are a family-owned farming and contracting business based on the South Head Peninsula of the Kaipara Harbour, in North-West Auckland. Our farming operation includes a 200-cow, once-a-day dairy farm, along with approximately 600ha of beef and sheep finishing across separate blocks. We also operate Caleb Jackson Contracting, our general agricultural contracting business, as well as a fencing crew during winter. We are looking for a reliable and capable Farm Assistant to join our team in a varied, hands-on role across our farming operations. The Role: Approximately 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
