We are looking for our next superstar to join our team, you will work alongside the contract milker and 2ic milking 600 cows through our 27 aside twin pit herringbone shed with protrack and cow manager tags.1 to 2 years experience is preferred but training can be provided if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn. Your key duties would be but aren't limited to, helping with the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, ensuring the smooth running of tasks related to milking, feeding, animal care, and farm maintenance. What we are looking for Working closely with the Farm Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of a family run dairy platform. This is a hands on role requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage daily farm operations when required. Expectations Minimum 4 years New Zealand dairy farming experience, including previous Herd Manager or Assistant Manager roles. The successful applicant will have strong animal health and stock handling skills, be an effective communicator and team player and is confident with tractor work, feeding out, and fencing. Experience in using modern dairy technology including Protrack/Minda, in shed feeding systems, auto drafting, Allflex collars, and milk meters is preferred

We have a job for an experienced farm worker (2+ years) for an Assistant Manager position on a farm in the Otautau area. This is for a 320-cow farm, milking through a 30 Aside Herringbone shed.
