We are a fully certified Organic Dairy Farming Family in New Zealand, whose main farm is based in Marotiri and second farm is based in Edgecumbe, near Whakatane, both in the North Island. The main dairy platform is 65HA very flat with a 38HA supporting block, which has a rolling contour and is 5-10 minutes up the road. Farm is approximately 30mins from Ohope! We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant to join our team to assist in the day to day running of our Dairy Farm. You will be required to assist in all farming duties including milking, calving, feeding out and other general farm jobs. The position is based just out of Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty. The Position is full-time on a 160ha 450 Friesian cow farm with a 32 a-side herring bone shed. Minimum 30 hours per week with an average of 50 hours per week. Minimum experience 12 months work experience in a dairy farm or similar role. Qualification preferred but not essential.
