Feed Production Management • Assist with any feed planning or the management of as appropriate. • Assist to manage weeds and pests to maintain pasture and crops. • Milking • Maintain all appropriate effluent management records. • Know what to do when things go wrong. We are currently looking for someone with some dairy farming experience. Located in Raglan. Hours of work 4.50am to 1.30pm with a 1 and a half hour breakfast break. O nce a day milking (am), 300 cows, spring calving only. Roster is 6 on 1. 43 hours per week. We are located in Te Mata, Raglan (15 minutes to Raglan town and beach and 45 minutes to Hamilton). We run 850 cows on the west coast , near lake brunner . We have 2 milking sheds but calve everything at one farm in a calving barn. Team needs to be adaptable to lend a hand on other blocks when required  milking OAD year round  We do all our own tractor work , so applicants would be happy and skilled to be in the tractor often all self contained young stock and winter job will vary between milking, fencing , various tractor work , weed spraying.
