Fulltime farm assistant required to cover the Rostered days off of our 3 permanent staff. You will work 10 days a fortnight  as part of the team doing all jobs through the busy spring calving and mating period. The accommodation is one 4 bedroom house to share with our other farm assistant, a young single guy. You must be in New Zealand, and be able to be interviewed on farm to look at the role. We have a good team but need one more person and look forward to the chance for one more person to join our team to spread the load. The position starts at the start of calving. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. Looking for a drive in farm assistant. Role will run through until early January. We're based 9 minutes north of Otorohanga. Farms flat contour milking 340 cows through a 24ashb with inshed feeding. Main duties will be but not limited too assisting in milking, calf collection from paddock, break fencing and tractor work like feeding out. We do bales, grass silage and maize silage depending on the time of year. Really just wanting someone who is reliable with reliable transportation. I'll be happy to teach the rest. Looking to do a set minimum hours of pay per day so you aren't left short if we aren't busy or rained off to basic daily jobs.

We are on the hunt for a calf rearer to join our team to assist with the coming season, rearing 250 replacements and the remainder being bobby calves, we need someone with good attention to detail and a good understanding of calf health. you will be working closely with the on farm team. We are looking for someone to come in and cover milkings through the 2026/27 season so staff are able to have annual leave and get other jobs done around the farm during milking hours. We run a split calving system so milkings are all year round and consistent.  54 bail rotary with cup removers and automatic teat spray so is just one person milking. There will be someone to help with herd change overs and when the red mob comes through so you arent left to yourself. There is always someone outside loading or doing other jobs that if you have an issue you can call on.
