Looking for a calf rearer to assist us over calving (1 July - 15 October). Will need to be confident and capable. Previous experience is preferred but the position can easily be learnt by someone willing. This position will involve rearing approximately 200 calves (milk, meal, hay and water) plus feeding bobbies. Will mostly be working autonomously, however there will be experienced staff nearby if help is needed. Could lead to more work on farm for the right person.

Calf Rearer Wanted We are looking for a reliable and motivated Calf Rearer to join our dairy farm team. Our farm milks 1,000 cows on 315 hectares and rears approximately 240 replacement heifers each year. This role involves feeding and caring for calves, monitoring animal health, maintaining clean calf-rearing facilities, and helping ensure calves achieve excellent growth and welfare standards. Hi there, We are looking for a team member to join us as milk harvester/farm hand to join us for the new season. This role ideally would suit a drive-in, but a small self contained 1 bedroom cabin may be able to be organised. In that case, will suit a single person only, NO Families We are based 10-15 minutes east of Tokoroa. Looking for a drive in farm Assistant to work between 20-40 hours a week.  Located in Reporoa, couple minutes drive from the village. We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.
