We're on the hunt for a motivated and reliable Calf Rearer to join our team from 20 July 2026 through to Mid/End September there can be further work for the rest of the season relief milking for the right person. We are located just 5 minutes from Palmerston North.  NO accommodation availabe We are NOT credited employers (New Zealand applicants only) Roster Can be flexible and also Hours somewhat flexable for the right canditate Previous years hours have been (these do fluctuate throughout calving) 5.00am - 8.30am  1.30pm - 2.30pm (Helping with colostrums) 3.30pm -5pm  We rear approximately 160 replacement heifer calves from birth through to weaning. This role is not visa accredited. Applicants must already have the right to work in New Zealand.   Farm Assistant position available from early July to mid November on 350-cow farm near Tokomaru, 15 minutes south of Palmerston North. Drive in position, no accommodation available.   ·         Start date: 6 July. ·         Approx 45 hrs per week. ·         4 days off per fortnight, including every 2nd weekend off. ·         Working with farm owner and 2 others. ·         25 ASHB shed with ACRs. ·         Pedigree Holstein Friesian herd. ·         SmaXtec cow monitoring system. ·         No smoking/vaping permitted anywhere on farm. ·         Drug-free workplace. ·         Must have current driver’s licence (preferably Full), reliable transport and be punctual. ·         Must currently live in the Manawatu, NZ, and be permitted to work in NZ.
