Applicants must be living in New Zealand now to apply for this job and be either a NZ citizen or have a residency visas.   Minimum work experience of one year on New Zealand dairy farms is essential with a can do attitude. Duties would depend on your experience but would be focused primarily on milking, cleaning the shed and yard, treating mastitis and moving break fences for stock. We are looking for a calf rearer to join our team starting mid of July. Rearing about 350 heifer calves plus bobbies and beefies at 4 days old. Roster 6 on 1 off, about 5 hours per day. We are looking for an experienced Tractor Driver and all round farm hand for our dairy farm. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ON A DAIRY PLATFORM BUT DOES NOT INVOLVE ANY STOCK WORK. Farm worker wanted - Immediate start. We are on the look out for someone to join our team on a 650 cow dairy farm in Hororata with an immidiate start, finishing at the end of September. Our roster is 9 days on, 3 days off, 7 days on, 2 days off. This means you will have either fr/sat/sun off or mon/tues. We're looking for someone with either : Dairy shed / milking experience or Calf rearing experience.
