We have an opportunity for a casual staff member to help us on our two farms over the calving and mating period (July-Dec). We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner. I am looking for a drive in calf rearer to rear approx 130-140 calves in Eureka, near Morrinsille and Hamilton. Must be experienced and have an eye for detail. There will be bobby calves to feed as well. Have a milk trailer setup with a pump and hose. There will be relief milking available later in the season if wanted also. Looking for an experienced calf rearer for the calving season. This is a drive in position, no accommodation available on farm.  Farm is located 10 minutes from Matamata on the Kaimai range. We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to work on a 440-cow farm in Huntly west, milking through a 34cups HB shed. While previous experience is preferred, it is not required for this role.
