FARM MANAGER / CONTRACT MILKER – OAD DAIRY FARM Experienced Dairy Operator Wanted – Southland We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager / Contract Milker / Sharemilker-level dairy operator to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of a progressive OAD dairy farm in Southland . This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands that running a profitable dairy farm requires more than simply getting cows milked. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, make decisions, identify problems before they become problems, manage people and cows effectively, and drive production and profitability. The successful applicant will have a strong background in dairy farming and ideally have experience as a Contract Milker, Sharemilker, 2IC or Farm Manager . We are looking for a new relief milker to join the team, currently milking 490 cows through a 44 a side herringbone with acrs on twice a day milking. Postion  will be for 2-3 days a week plus possibly covering annual leave. We are a younger team that likes to have a laugh and make milkings enjoyable. Some experience is preferred but am willing to teach. Hourly rate will be on experience $28-35 a hour This is a drive in position located 10mins from winton(between winton and drummond) Not accerdited emloyer.
