We have a job available for an Assistant Farm Manager  with at least 2+ years' experience on a 1150-cow farm in the Whataroa area, milking through a 70 Bail Rotary shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking Shed Management Animal Husbandry and Production Animal Health Monitoring, Management and Treatment Pasture and fodder Management Maintenance of Shed, Equipment and Machinery Know and meet regulatory rules & requirements Breeding, Calving and Calf rearing Management Cattle transportation Contractor Organisation and Management Staff Management   and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 60.
