We require an honest reliable farm assistant to join our team in Manawatu/Whanganui. 6 - 12 months previous experience preferred. Duties include but not limited to Milking: Assists with efficent and hygienic milking routine Animals: Assists in safe handling of animals, records, reports and treat, any health issue   Feed: Controls weeds. Sets break fences and feeds out as directed. Environment: Assists with nutrients, effluent and water management People: Works well with others, building a strong team culture Machinery Vehicles and Technology: Safely uses and maintains plant and farm vehicles. Pay rate is $27 - $29 per hour. Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. Applicants must have a criminal free record. Dairy Farm Assistant to join us urgently. 10mins from Palmerston North, milking 450 cows through an automated 60 bail rotary shed.  Would be working in all aspects of dairy farming. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and police check to be considered. One year minimum experience in all aspects of dairy farming is required. In search of reliable energetic worker to help  milk 330 cows in a 30 aside herringbone. We require a person that can work as part of a  team as well as independently. The farm is situated in the Manawatu approx. 10mins from Palmerston North and Feilding Accommodation  available on farm or willing to travel. Some experience preferred Daily tasks would include but are not limited to Milking & shed hygiene  Fencing & break Fences Calving cows & Feeding Calves Basic Tractor Work Stock Work Routine General Maintenance Restricted or higher NZ Drivers License is required  Applicants must be drug free Must be in NZ Not AEWV accredited 

Farm assistant required for a 1100 cow farm with an 80 bail rotary cowshed . Must have a minimum of 1 year farming experience. Must be able to use a 2w motorbike; able to use tractor for feed out in the paddock or feed pad and be efficient at milking time. Work available for partner at certain times of year if wanted .
