We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join a 250-cow farm in the Whakapara area, milking through a 20-aside herringbone shed. Experience is preferred but not required for this role. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking twice a day - shifting cows and feeding  - fencing, weed control - calving, calf rearing - shed cleaning and setup - identifying and alerting managers to sick cows - Setting fences - and other general farm duties. At all times, you will work 30 hours per week. Any hours worked over 30 hours per week will be paid at the agreed overtime rate per hour. The schedule may vary; Roster will be 6 days on, 1 day off for the rest of the year. Salary is $45,000 per annum.
