Start date 15 June.  We seek a Farm Assistant or Milk Harvester to join our friendly team in Whakamaru. Farming experience is preferred but other outdoor skills are valued too. This job is at least 30 hours work per week.  Wednesdays and Thursdays off.  It will consist mostly of milking and cleaning at cowshed.  When the cows are dry, the work is mostly farm maintenance. We have 700 Friesian X cows through a 50 aside herringbone shed with inshed feeding, protrack, ACRs and auto teat spray. Spring calving. Supportive farm owners who live and work on the farm. Opportunities for you to gain new skills and attend agricultural classes if you wish.
