We are looking for someone to take the lead as a calf rearer, with assistance from our other farm staff. We will be rearing approximately 150 replacement heifer calves plus a few beef calves across two neighbouring farms. Position to start 13th July, for about 10 weeks.  Ideally a 6 : 1 position with Sundays off. There is also a possibility of taking on some relief milkings through the rest of the season if desired. Please note that this is a drive in position, or there could be potential for shared accomodation for a single person. Must be physically fit, have a NZ Working Visa and reside in NZ.

We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner.
