We are taking expressions of interest for an assistant Manager/ Manager position.  1400 cows TAD, leading a team of 6 staff.  Must be experienced and confident leading teams. Excellent tractor skills.  Large herd experience ideal  Cows have collars , experience with Allflex also ideal. Thorough commitment to health and safety. Can do attitude. 

A position has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated employee to work on our 1500-cow farm in Selwyn, Canterbury. We operate a 50-bale rotary with ACR's and Protrack automation. We also have Halter technology installed and operating. The role includes all general farm duties from milking, feeding of stock, R & M work on the farm, weed control, moving K-Line irrigation, Roto-Rainer irrigation and Centre pivots. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, can be a team player, honest, reliable, excellent communication skills, must hold a current driving license and have a high attention to detail. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year's full-time experience and be able to ride 2- and 4-wheel motorbikes and have tractor operation experience and feeding out would be an advantage.
