As our business grows we simply have too much work for one person, so we need you. We are looking for someone with proven experience fencing and tractor driving. You must be a self starter, have initiative and be able to work unsupervised.    Work will be Monday - Friday, although depending on the workload some Saturday work required may be required. Remuneration will be mutually agreed upon depending on experience and skill levels. Work will start as a Fixed Term role with the possibility of progressing to a Permanent Full Time role. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying.
