MUST BE LIVING IN NEW ZEALAND CURRENTLY, WITH CURRENT WORKING VISA OR RESIDENCY. We are not an accredited employer. NZ Dairy Farming Experience - 3 years minimum required Current Ability - Must have Drivers License, Be able to drive Tractors and silage wagon/bale feeder etc, Ride 2 wheeler Motorbikes. You will be efficient, quiet and thorough Milking "The Girls". Picking any ill health and treating.  Experience with Lameness skills beneficial or willing to learn.  General shed maintenance and upkeep skills, with high hygiene is essential. Having a good eye and experience in pasture management an advantage. Calving - Being fit, strong and capable is essential for the busy calving season.  You will be required to work with the team for calf collection and help with difficult calvings. Irrigation/Effluent - pivot irrigation with underslung effluent.  Sprinklers in corners.  So being able to have good work ethic with this over summer months (irrigation) is required....

The role requires experience dealing with milking ,Mastitis treatment ,lame cow treatment and managing a herringbone shed and a good knowledge of animal welfare and shed hygiene. The dairy farm is situated close to Rangiora and Kaiapoi
