We have an Assistant Manger Role on our dairy farm near Rangiora. We milk 650 cows through a 44 a-side herringbone cowshed.  The role involves supporting the operations manager to achieve the farm's production and profit goals through day to day operations and to follow good animal health, welfare and environmental guidelines. Skills required include: Excellent stockmanship skills A good understanding of animal health, nutrition and welfare and the factors that affect these parameters.
