We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Farm Manager to join our team milking 480 cows in Otorohanga. After three formidable years consistently lifting production, the current sharemilkers are moving onto a new opportunity.  The farm is located 8km from Otorohanga in the northern King Country. Converted from a finishing farm around 20 years ago, it has modern infrastructure with a 54-bail rotary, feed pad and ancillary buildings.  Utilizing a system 3 with approx. 1500kgDM/cow purchased alongside maize grown on farm. Planned start of calving around the 20th July with a peak production of 389,000KGMS and a three-year average of 335,000KGMS from a cross bred herd (which may be available for purchase)  Young stock are grazed on owner's runoff.  A standard Federated Farmers contract is utilised.  The farm has three modern three-bedroom brick homes which are well maintained.  Otorohanga is a thriving rural town with good schooling options including Otorohanga College. Looking for a relief Milker 5mins from Otorohanga,  30 aside herringbone  cups on 530am and 3pm  5 days a fortnight including 1 weekend, dates flexible but will need to be fixed for rosters.  $30/hr start 30th July
