We are seeking two experienced farm workers (12+ months’) to work as Herd Managers on an 850-cow farm in the Morrinsville area, milking through a 50 Aside Herringbone shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking and monitoring milk quality, - stock handling and feeding (feed mgt), - fencing, weed control, - calving, calf rearing, - shed maintenance & preparation, - tractor operation for feeding out, baling, mowing and silage - monitoring, recording and maintaining animal health - and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 35. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.   The schedule may vary but generally work hours are between 5am and go through 5pm with meal and rest...

We are seeking a reliable Farm Assistant to join our dairy farming operation.  Duties include milking, animal health, feeding, fencing, cleaning, and general farm maintenance.  Applicants should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to work as part of a team.  Previous dairy experience of at least 1 year is essential.  A strong work ethic and commitment to animal welfare and health & safety are required. Must pass a drug test.
