We are looking for HERD MANAGER. Our farm is 320ha Milking 900 cows through 64 bales Rotary.  1 hour drive from Invercargill and 50 from Gore Key task and responsibilities: Manager milk harvesting to optimize quality, efficiency and yield, monitoring milk dockets to help troubleshooting issues. identifies, maintains and fixes faults in the miking plant and farm dairy equipment. implement and monitors the animal health plan, record and reports on this. Monitor pasture covers, feed intakes and cow condition, and discuss appropriate management with senior staff. implement the farm plan for effluent management in line with regional council requirements and consent conditions and monitor the farm's dairy effluent system. Roster is 5 on 2 and 6 on 1 off you will be guaranteed a minimum 38 hours (Any hour worked over 40 hour per week will be paid at a rate of $31.5 per hour) You must have a clean criminal record Driving license is must, Drug Test required  Smoke free House and Dairy...
