We are looking for a motivated, honest and reliable Herd Manager to join our team. We milk twice a day 970 cows through a 60 bale automated rotary. Your duties will include setting up the shed and bringing cows in for milking, assisting with milking, identifying cows for health problems, moving break fences, assist in calving cows, basic pasture management and willing to learn more have great stock sense, assist in treating lame cows and detecting mastitis and other farm jobs. Experience in dairy farming required. Approximately 10 minutes from Methven township and 15 mins from Ashburton.
