 herd manager We are looking for a Herd Manager for a 1350-cow  through 70-bail rotary shed nearly new with ACR .farm is located in Hororata20 minutes from Darfield and 50 minutes from Christchurch We are seeking a person with  At least 1 years of dairy farming experience in New Zealand.   Strong work ethic and commitment to animal welfare,  to work well within a team and independently, Good communication skills, also Physically fit and reliable. your role will be   Milking  Animal health monitoring/recording Being able to confidently identify mastitis or ill health within the herd Treating lame cows Tractor work Fencing Assisting with calving Ability to lead the junior members of the team
