We are seeking a experienced farm manager to join our team. We are located 10 minutes from Gore. The farm milks 900 cows through a rotary shed, we run a 5 on 2 off roster. We are a family owned and operated farm.  We are looking for someone that is: - Reliable - Strong observation skills - Good communication skills - Be a leader for the team.  The role will include making pasture management decisions, management of the cowshed, managing the other staff, delegating jobs etc.  This position comes with a 4 bedroom home, wood fire, heat pump and heat transfer system, double glazing, 2 bathrooms.  Opportunity for a partner to work calf rearing, potentially relief milking and general farm jobs.  If this interests you at all please get in touch to discuss more. We are looking for a Assistant manager who can confidently run one of the 2 dairy sheds of the farm. The farm is located 15 minutes from gore and 5 minutes from Riversdale. The farm has 430ha all flat and has 2 sheds, A 50 and 54 bale rotary both are ACR and have PROTRACT drafting gate. Each shed will have 1 2IC, 1 herd manager and 1 assistant herd manager( reliever). the farm will calved 1200 cows this season and will get split evenly on both sheds after calving. The successful applicant will be working along with the farm manager. We are looking for an Assistant Manager (2IC) with plenty of dairy operating experience. Someone who is self motivated and efficient.
