We are seeking a experienced farm manager to join our team.
We are located 10 minutes from Gore. The farm milks 900 cows through a rotary shed, we run a 5 on 2 off roster. We are a family owned and operated farm.
We are looking for someone that is:
- Reliable
- Strong observation skills
- Good communication skills
- Be a leader for the team.
The role will include making pasture management decisions, management of the cowshed, managing the other staff, delegating jobs etc.
This position comes with a 4 bedroom home, wood fire, heat pump and heat transfer system, double glazing, 2 bathrooms.
Opportunity for a partner to work calf rearing, potentially relief milking and general farm jobs.
