We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dairy Assistant to join our small team on a newly converted 120ha farm for the 2026/27 season and beyond. We aim to milk 350–370 cows through a 40-bale rotary with ACRs, Protrack, in-shed feeding, and irrigation. A support block 5km away is used for wintering and young stock. The farm is located 40 minutes inland from Timaru and 15 minutes from Fairlie, in the beautiful Mackenzie district, offering a great lifestyle with lakes, mountains, and outdoor recreation nearby. A tidy 4-bedroom home is available, with a school bus for both primary and secondary schools stopping at the gate. We value work–life balance and offer a fair roster.
