We are looking for an assistant farm manager to join our team to assist in the day-to-day running of our dairy farm.  You will be required to; - Assist in daily management activities, supervise milking from paddock to farm dairy as required   - Ensure the dairy plant is kept to a very high hygiene and operating standard - Have a good understanding of animal health issues and a proactive approach to maintain a healthy herd including treating animal health problems  - Manage daily planning and staff management in the absence of the farm manager - Implement routine maintenance schedules  - Experience using a variety of farm machinery  - Identify and fix faults as needed - Meet environmental regulation through management of soil, nutrients, effluent, and water efficiently  The position is based just out of Edgecumbe, Bay of Plenty The position is full-time on a 160ha 450 friesian cow farm 32 a-side hearing bone shed....

Part-Time Milker Wanted – Edgecumbe We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our team on a 630-cow dairy farm in Edgecumbe. Position Details: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning milkings Additional hours may be available for the right person 40-bale herringbone shed with automatic cup removers Friendly and supportive team environment What We're Looking For: Some dairy farming or milking experience preferred, but training can be provided for someone willing to learn Reliable and punctual Honest and trustworthy Positive attitude and able to work well within a team Good communication skills Able to work independently when required This role would suit someone looking for part-time work in a great team environment.
