Dairy Farm Assistant Needed in Edendale (REC-DFA-EL)
FRENZ Recruitment & Immigration Edendale, New Zealand
We have a Dairy Farm Assistant position available on an 480-cow farm in the Edendale area, milking through a 40 Aside Herringbone shed. Experience is preferred but not required for this role. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 55. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.
