We are looking for a reliable, conscious and adaptable Herd Manager for our small family-run farm located in a prime position between Hamilton and Cambridge and close to SH1. Your responsibilities will include sole charge milking 170 cows in a 25 aside Herringbone shed, feeding out, spraying, animal husbandry, mating and calving. We are looking for someone with 2+ years NZ Dairy experience who is confident to work independently on all above tasks but is also able to follow instruction, health and safety practices and use initiative. Requirements also include having a clear criminal record and being drug free (Pre-employment and random drug testing may apply) Sorry we are not a Accredited employer
