Dairy Farm Worker We are looking for a reliable and motivated dairy farm worker to join our team on a dairy farm near Hinds, Canterbury . Hi  we are looking for a fixed term Farm Assistant / Relief Milker. The peak milking cows 1130. Someone who love cows and like to work around them. key jobs.  milking . plant wash. getting cows for milking.  shed / yard wash. other basic stuff. some experience in nz dairy will be great but training can be given to right person. We are looking for an relief milker for a 750 cow farm located 10 minutes east of Ashburton. This is a casual drive in position and experience in milking is required as it is a high producing herd, being milked through a 1 person shed. The cows are being milked through a 54 bale rotary with acr and auto teatspray. The roster will be covering the other staffs days off, and will be 4 days on, 6 days off, with the occasional 6 days on, 4 days off, the high producing herd takes around 4 hours to milk in the morning and around 3 hours in the afternoon. Starting times are 5am and 2.30pm. Other duties will include general farm maintance such as fencing, cleaning and tidying.
