Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying. We are looking for a drive in relief milker to join our team. Our herd manager will be taking maternity leave at the end of the year and we are looking for a relief staff member who would like to gain more experience on farm while she is away! We are milking 500 fresian cows in a 40 a/s herringbone . Located near Arapuni. The job would require twice a day milkings. We are looking for someone dedicated, responsible with reliable transportation and a lack of excuses. We are a fun young team and love to have a laugh and reach our goals. There is plenty of work available for an employee outside of milkings if looking to gain more hours during the day on farm. This position would need at least 1 year experience milking in a herringbone. Grasslands operate dairy farms approximately 20 minutes drive from the Tokoroa township. The farms comprise of 1000 cows and we have a  casual relief milking position to cover staff leave etc. The farms have large modern milking facilities with 80 bail rotary platforms and are well equipped for the number of cows milked in them.

We are seeking a reliable sole charge relief milker for our herd of 210 Jersey cows. You should have experience in milking, managing animal health, and maintaining a clean shed. As our farm is grade-free, prior experience is essential. The role requires covering every second weekend or four consecutive days a month, ideally starting from the 12 September.
