Drive-in milker/farm assistant who can milk as part of a 2-person team in the mornings through a  herringbone shed with cup removers. Additional tasks as required such as bringing in cows & setting up fences. Potentially extra hours available for pm milkings, fencing, tree felling/wood cutting, weed control etc. This role would also be suitable for an ambitious trainee with a desire and passion to develop the skills necessary for a career in dairy farming. Our clients are looking for a motivated, reliable person to join their Waikato farming operation in a flexible drive-in role. Conveniently located between Morrinsville and Hamilton, this position offers 30–40 hours per week across four days, with some flexibility around how those hours are worked. Please note that this position is being readvertised due to a change in circumstances with the previously successful applicant. The operation includes a 100-hectare dairy farm milking 320 crossbred cows through a 26-bale rotary with in-shed feeder, supported by a 66-hectare run-off used for grazing, dairy beef, maize, and grass silage production.
